Category purchasing FAQ

How can compatible parts be identified?

Supply the unit identifier, component brand, part number and photographs. A reference model name alone does not guarantee compatibility.

Read the full answer & steps

How should a diesel truck’s emissions specification be confirmed?

Check vehicle, engine and manufacturer evidence, then have the destination importer confirm suitability. Year, horsepower and cab appearance do not establish an emissions level.

Read the full answer & steps

How should truck mileage and powertrain be checked?

Cross-check the odometer with service, repair and accessible system records, and assess engine, transmission, axles and braking. Verify actual axle and powertrain versions for the unit.
